Chapter 17

London

It had been a week since the failed dinner and we were finally ready to make our move on Monique. I knew that we were not going to fuck it up, we couldn’t afford to. I put on my body armor and bulletproof vest, made sure the escape car was in position, put the silencer on my gun, and we rolled out.

I made Paris sit that one out. The bitch had already gotten shot once, and I wasn’t risking almost losing her a second time.

We pulled up to the house Monique was hiding out in and got out of the car. I decided to send one of the new girls in as a decoy since we’d learned pretty bitches were her weakness. As soon as she gave us the signal, we would go in.

It didn’t take long for the signal to come.

When we walked in Monique was laid out on the bed. She just about shit herself when she saw me. Although I had my gun, I wanted her to feel pain, and I pulled out my switchblade. I knew who had sent her after us, but I needed to hear her say it.

“Who sent you to fuck with us Monique? My mom thought she was using you to get to the rat, but you were an even bigger rat!”

When she didn’t answer immediately I cut off her big toe without hesitation.

“Who sent you Monique?”

She still didn’t respond, she just cried harder and shook her head. I removed another toe.

“Who sent you Monique?”

That time I only waited ten seconds before taking off another toe.

“Who the fuck sent you Monique? Answer me before I just decide to cut off your whole dame foot!”

When she still didn’t respond I started to wonder if she was dead or in shock. That was until my knife touched her ankle.

She blurted out, “My parents…your grandparents…this was all them! Please don’t kill me!”

As soon as I had my answer, I put three in her head.

I had Naomi put her toes in a jewelry box and I attached a note that said, “Do you still want war?”

I called in the clean-up crew, left the house with the jewelry box, and drove straight to my grandparents. I left the box in their overflowing mailbox and headed home to wait. They would be arriving home from New York at midnight.
